About Jim

Jim Day has been a Northern Virginia resident for over 35 years. He and his wife raised their family here in the West Springfield/Burke area, after transplanting here from Bethesda, and originally from Kennebunk, Maine. If you ask him what he loves about Northern Virginia most? Grab a chair, sit down, and make yourself comfortable....because it's going to take awhile! But first, he's more interested in hearing about what you're looking for, and about what you envision for your lifestyle, and the community you want to live in, and the commute to work that you need to plan everyday. 

Jim brings to his real estate transactions, over 40 years of sales and marketing experience in negotiations. He's an easy going guy with a slightly irreverant sense of humor, but when it comes to getting the best deal for his clients, he's deliberate, dedicated and resourceful. 

When not on the phone with clients, showing properties, or negotiating the best deal and all the other fun activities of real estate, Jim might be found acting on a community stage, in a commercial or film, walking with his wife along one of the area's beautiful lakes or streams, or volunteering in his church and community. You might even spot him dragging around a bag of aluminum sticks and chasing a little white dimpled ball back and forth across the greens, or maybe just trying to get the ball back on the fairway. He also frequents the local seafood spots with the best Maine lobster rolls and he can't turn down a slice of blueberry pie or a soft serve ice cream.
